Le Dandy par/by Nelly

Most dog coats are not made to fit the beautiful (but unusual) shape of the greyhound. Their deep chests and long necks make traditional "off the rack" dog coats hard to fit. Le Dandy by Nelly was created for a greyhound's special shape. Most of LeDandy's coats feature a special fold back long neck in case of bad weather that keeps your greyhound especially warm and dry. The surcingles on the winter coats have snap closures rather than velcro, which is a safer and longer lasting option.
The polar and cool coats use a velcro closure to make sleeping and relaxing more comfortable for your favorite pet.

New Designs for Summer/Fall 2006

The New Cool Coat

The Cool Coat is made from terry cloth and is the perfect thing for those hot summer days. Most greyhounds (because of their low body fat) do not handle the heat very well. This can make summertime hard and dangerous for them. The cool coat can be dunked in cold water to keep your greyhound cool and happy. Conversely, it can also be used after bathtime to keep him or her toasty warm and help them dry faster. Body colour comes white only, but trim comes in a variety of colours. The button is mearly decorative, as the closure is velcro.

The New Polar Coat

As the fall is quickly approaching, evenings can be chilly! The newly designed polar coat is perfect for cooler fall days or to be worn as PJs at night. With no hard buckles or snaps, your dog will be able to play or sleep warmly and comfortably. Available in most colour combinations, special requests for colours are welcomed, subject to availability.
